King of the fells

On June 8th, 1971, sheep farmer Joss Naylor and rally driver Frank Davies arrived in Fort William to take on the iconic Three Peaks. Starting and ending at sea level, challengers must scale the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales, in the fastest time possible, including driving time. The running route spans 23 miles with a combined ascent of 3,064 meters (10,052ft), while the additional 462 miles will be covered in Frank's rally-prepped Ford Capri. Frank is convinced Joss can complete the course in under 12 hours. A time that if achieved, will probably never be beaten…
